 GLUCOSAMINE is an amino-monosaccharide that is a precursor for the synthesis of structural components of joints such as articular cartilage, collagen, and synovial fluid. Glucosamine HCl yields 1.7 times more active glucosamine than glucosamine sulfate. Glucosamine is a small molecule that has characteristics conducive to absorption from the digestive tract.

HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN (Five U.S. patents) – is a low molecular weight ingredient that is efficiently absorbed from the digestive tract. Collagen has amino acids helpful in the maintenance of connective tissue structures such as cartilage, tendons, ligaments, skin, and bone.

HYALURONIC ACID (Five U.S. patents) – is a hydrolyzed digestible version of this nutrient that is efficiently absorbed from the digestive tract. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of synovial fluid within the joint and helps with skin hydration and suppleness as well as wound repair.

CHONDROITIN SULFATE (Five U.S. patents) – is also a hydrolyzed low molecular weight ingredient that is efficiently absorbed (unlike traditional chondroitin that is a larger sized molecule). Chondroitin sulfate is used by the body as a precursor for joint structures.

CETYL MYRISTOLEATE (CM) is a unique fatty acid developed for oral consumption in nutritional joint support formulas. (CM) is thought to reduce the release of inflammatory cytokines.
